To prevent stains from setting, it is very important to clean the surface immediately if it gets dirty. Make it a daily habit to wash it to protect its natural shine and ensure its longevity.
Regardless of the type of marble (white, black, veined, breccia, etc.), prioritize the use of a soft cloth or sponge, slightly dampened. To avoid scratching the marble, use gentle circular motions.
As for products, here are the natural ones recommended:
- Marseille soap: perfect for making the stone shine on a daily basis.
- Black soap
- Dish soap
- Meudon white or Spanish white (for white marble only)
- Terre de Sommières (Fuller's earth), for grease stains: sprinkle a little on a cloth and gently rub the stain.
