Is an earthenware vase waterproof and can you put water in it?

Earthenware does not guarantee complete waterproofing. If you wish to place water or fresh flowers in a tiled piece, we recommend using an interior container (a glass or a small vase) to protect the surface and avoid prolonged contact with humidity.

How to maintain Carrara white marble?

Marble is an elegant yet delicate natural stone. For daily maintenance, use a soft sponge or non-abrasive cloth lightly dampened with lukewarm water and a pH-neutral soap. It is imperative to avoid acidic products (vinegar, lemon, wine, coffee, soda) and chemical detergents, which can cause irreversible stains. Each top is treated with a water-repellent sealer: it is recommended to renew this treatment once a year with a specific product for marble.

Can you place a glass or hot dish directly on marble?

No. Marble is porous and susceptible to stains: wipe up any spills immediately and never place hot glasses, cups or dishes directly on the surface. Always use coasters, trivets and placemats to protect it on a daily basis.

How to maintain Freijó wood furniture?

Freijó, like any solid wood, can change slightly over time (patina, color variations): this is a natural characteristic, not a defect. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, stagnant liquids or direct heat sources (radiators, intense sunlight), which can cause stains, cracks or deformation. Do not use solvents, alcohol or abrasive products: prefer natural products specially formulated for solid wood.

No, even if HPL is more resistant than a standard laminate: never place pans or hot objects (over 100°C) directly on the surface. Quickly wipe up any spilled liquid, particularly on the joints and edges of MDF, which are more sensitive to moisture, and avoid strong solvents, abrasives, concentrated bleach or acetone.
